krohn vintage 1965

Description

The year 1965, the year that Wiese & Krohn completed a century of existence, was marked by an exceptional harvest which resulted in only 2,600 bottles, part of which is reserved for prolonged aging. Half a century after the year of harvest, the Krohn Vintage 1965 presents itself as a mature wine, complex and of great balance and delicacy.

Attractive brick color. Very thin, ripe nose displaying opulent aromas of coffee and caramel topped with touches of apricot and tobacco. On the palate, the wine shows an exceptional elegance, without the slightest weight. Rich specks and caramel, coffee flavours flow for the long run. A beautifully mature, complex and seductive Vintage Port showing excellent balance and finesse.

vista alegre colheita 1969
